Training Management Software

Whether you are just starting your training program or it has been established for a while, you may have training documents scattered across multiple formats, styles, and mediums. You may rely upon in-person training and regular meetings to keep your employees updated. Unfortunately, many of these meetings are conducted using the honor system or an if-you-can-make it style. When the people in the back are zoned out of the Monday Morning Meetings or Trip-Ms for short, you won‘t be able to tell what they grasped and what they didn’t unless they ask questions. It’s hard to admit that lecture learning just isn’t the same as training. Just like a new car, as soon as your new employees take their knowledge out of the door, half of the value is lost. When they have a repository resource, like an elearning lesson, they can review at the time that is best for them.

With a training management system, your employees can take their training with them and you don’t have to worry about coordinating multiple people and multiple resources to train the new class or update the veterans. You can simply create a lesson in a few minutes and send it out to the team to take at their convenience. Some people are still relying on email updates and as much as easy as that is, there isn’t tracking available. Your employees could be opening those emails then immediately deleting them and there is no way to tell the difference.

Of course, your employees wouldn’t do that, but just imagine if they did. After signing up for an employee training management system, you can manage your employees’ learning and make sure everyone understands things they need to. You may also find that your training may have been insufficient in some areas. After being in the trenches of processes for a few years, it can be easy to forget how meticulous a process is. At that point, you can easily update and improve your lesson and try again through your training management software. You don’t have to call everyone back in for a meeting that’s going to interrupt their workflow.

Starting a training management system is an exciting time. Once you decide to move forward with your training management system, free of the inconvenience of managing an overwhelming amount of different documents, you are moving toward a happier team. Granted, climbing the mountain of building content in your training management software can seem like a daunting task once you reach the pinnacle, the view is breathtaking.

Training Tracking Software

Hearing the words “training tracking software” leaves some managers taken aback. Those words might make it seem like you don’t trust your employees when it is truly the opposite. When you are able to track your training, your whole training attitude is changed. A lack of tracking in training means that employees may be falling to the wayside on certain subjects without the manager or rest of the team knowing. Similar to what happened to me in Calculus II, things begin to pile up and before you know it, you end up crying in the final exam in front of two professors and 80 students. Instead, with a training tracking software you can make sure that your learners are understanding everything they should. You can even kick it up a notch and see how training impacts your revenue or expenses.

If you are just getting started with your training program, you may want to just start with comprehension tracking, which is great.  Asking questions within lessons to see if your learners really understood certain areas of your training is crucial. That’s something you can’t do through documents and a training management system ppt. You may also gain insight on what motivates your team. If learners are passionate about completing the lesson quickly, you may notice the A-players on your team. You can then push the B-players to the next level so your entire team can succeed.

You should be able to experience training tracking software free of stress and hassle. Emailing to follow up with every person on your team to see if they have any questions on a presentation or asking for a few points on what they took away is taxing both on your time and theirs. When a learner can give feedback on a lesson while they are in the training application is easier for both parties.

Before you settle on any training tracking software, check out a few training tracking software reviews. What we’ve found out in our training management software reviews and looking at others’ reviews is that customers are very honest. If they aren’t pleased with their experience, they are not hesitant to let everyone know. Digital Training Management System

What is a digital training management system? It could be the solution to all of your training woes. In a digital training management system, you will easily be able to manage, update, and share lessons and courses with relatively little training. At Lessonly, we believe if you can write an email, you can build a lesson. We’ve all experienced ancient LMS systems that make you internally scream. Whether training is digital or in-person, it shouldn’t be like that. You should be able to laugh and smile while making a lesson and your learners should be able to do the same while taking one. If you are going to invest in training, why not invest in something you can enjoy?

Compliance Management System

Compliance training seems to always be just around the corner. When you have hundreds or thousands of employees, creating and assigning a new compliance training lesson can seem like it would be a drag. So, instead of creating a new lesson each year, many companies will use the same one from the ‘90s. I love the ‘90s as much as VH1, but training that was created 20 years ago is aged and outdated. With a compliance management system like Lessonly, you can easily update your lessons to include perfect pop-culture references or the perfect GIF.

Your learners are going to be spending time taking your 100 question lessons, so invest some time and make it entertaining. When learners can laugh, they experience a better retention rate. So, when you are building an important compliance training lesson, consider what is going to stick with your employees. Regulatory compliance software doesn’t sound like the most exciting thing, and many compliance management software companies live up to the mind-numbing name. Fortunately, Lessonly is changing the game. Check out a free trial of our compliance management software free. Did we mention it’s free? You have nothing to lose.

LMS

Open Source software is great — sometimes. When an open source project is regularly updated and there are people available to quickly troubleshoot issues, open source projects can be better than established businesses. Unfortunately, but understandably, that happens rarely. Open source software just doesn’t have the funding and capabilities that businesses do. If you are considering investing in an open source LMS for your company, you might consider investing in another engineer to work on that project and adapt it for your team. Once you invest time and a salary of an engineer into an open source LMS software, you essentially have adapted it to be your in-house software. Although the idea of open source software is great, it just doesn’t work for businesses.

If you are considering an open source LMS software, take some time and do an open source LMS comparison with businesses that aren’t open source. You can evaluate Lessonly for free for two weeks just by signing up for a free trial at the top of the page.  A training tracking software open source is also not the most effective. You don’t really know who is tracking your lessons and you don’t know who has access to your learners’ data. It could be your competitors. Being able to put faces with a product offers a personal touch to a great product.
