Here at Lessonly, we love our jobs. We put in hard working hours to continually grow but have a smile on our face the whole time we do it. Why, you ask? We want to create easy-to-use learning software in order to create more productive teams.
The motivation that drives us to develop the best product is knowing that learning is a lifelong pursuit. We strive to create the best learning software possible because we want our users to enjoy learning as much as we do.
Education needs to be encouraged by leadership and pursued by the individuals. Just like a parent or mentor to a child. On top of our software changing the way employees learn, we’re proud to partner with The First Fund outside of the corporate world in order to help first-grade students and their parents or guardians to establish, seed, and grow their own post-secondary savings plans.
The First Fund creates a 529 savings plan in the student’s name and makes an initial capital investment of $1,000 to the plan. Each month, an additional $5.00 will be deposited in the students’ fund throughout their education. In addition to the monetary investment, The First Fund provides the parents or guardians of the student with continuing education focused on strategies for savings and investments. Through educating the guardian of the child, we hope to accelerate the savings plan’s growth and maturity.
The child will also be given a mentor to encourage and help inspire the child to push themselves to love learning. We hope that our belief in the child’s potential will help inspire the child to believe in themselves. Lessonly and The First Fund make the desire for post-secondary education to go from being a dream to reality.
Every child says, “When I grow up, I want to be a (fill in the blank).” Instead of them just learning the jobs out there that they want to become, we invest in the children through mentorship and the financial resources they need to discover more opportunities and follow their passion.
Learning is a lifelong process. Lessonly is not only a software tool, but we are building a generation that has a passion for learning.
