Single Sign-on (SSO)

Remembering all of the logins you use to manage your day-to-day work life can be a major pain. In case you were unaware, Lessonly has taken steps to reduce the number of logins you need with a few different single sign-on (SSO) options for you to take advantage of:
1. SAML 2.0: SAML SSO allows users to sign in to Lessonly with accounts they already use. This could be something like your own application, or any other service that allows you to connect their login system to ours (details on how this can be done are here). The benefit is clear though: one less login for your users to remember.

  • Note: If you use Microsoft Active Directory, the SAML SSO integration is already complete. You can find documentation here.

2. Secure Web Authentication: Single sign on tools like Okta allow for a setup of connecting your SSO provider through a secure web authentication. Other Okta-like tools have this functionality, but take a look at this lesson to see how to set up Okta’s authentication.
3. Access Control: OneLogin allows managers to quickly onboard their employees to their Lessonly accounts and remove their access even faster. OneLogin allows for multiple app integrations to provide smoother onboarding. Learn some more about OneLogin here.

As more SSO options become available, we’ll be sure to list them here. Have one, in particular, you are interested in? Let us know!
