When contemplating the past twelve months, the word flywheel comes to mind.

Each day, each victory, each failure, each notch in the bat has been one more turn of the wheel and with each turn has come more encouraging momentum for the next.

Why we do what we do

Each one of us wakes up thinking about how we can improve the lives of our customers, our coworkers, our families, and ourselves – we just so happen to do so with the easiest learning software on the planet.

Sure, call us a bunch of Millennials, but we believe this is the right way to do business. We believe that the world of self-centered, money-hungry, demotivated drones is going the way of the dodo and we’re happy to be on the other side.

We do things the way we do them because they’re the right things to do, not because they’re the way they’ve always been done, not because they’re status quo, and definitely not because they are easy.

How we got here

This time last year, our office looked like this:

That’s right, it was Max, Corey, and I in the back of TinderBox working at a high-top table, computers touching. Conner thankfully works out of Raleigh, or else I don’t know what we would have done!

Since then, we’ve really stuck our nose to the grindstone and picked up our pace on every front.

We’ve grown our sales team from just Conner to him plus seven rockstars.

We’ve also tripled our engineering team, doubled our customer support team, and are about to triple our marketing team!

Sure, that sound like a lot of effort, but did it actually lead to business growth?

Although we have helped change our industry, we have a long way to go.

Where we’re going

Going forward, we will transform the way companies learn, like we’ve done with Lyft, ModCloth, Angie’s list, and many others.

What will be more profound, however, is the way we will impact more and more people’s lives.
