Lessonly gives you two unique ways to distribute your lessons:
1. You can assign them to your users via the assign button, or
2. You can share your lessons with a link
This blog post will help you take advantage of the second option. To get started, click on any one of your lessons:
You will be taken to your lesson’s Overview page. From there, click the “Change share settings” link. You’ll find it at the top-right of the page.
Change the Share settings from “Private” to “Shared;” then, save your changes.
Lessonly will create a unique URL that you can copy. Send this URL to whomever you want to take your lesson.
When your stakeholders follow this link, they will be taken to a landing page that asks them for their full name and email address. The landing page looks like this:
When your stakeholder starts or finishes a lesson, you will be able to see their progress on your lesson’s Overview page, just like you can with assignments. Here’s what it looks like when John Smith follows a shared link and takes a lesson.
Clicking on John’s name or email address will reveal John’s metrics and report card.
That sums up how to share lessons. We are incredibly proud of this functionality, as it’s both unique to Lessonly and a favorite option of our clients. 🙂
