9 Things to Know Before Yellowship

On Tuesday, we’ll be at Yellowship together. We can’t wait! Truly, we’re counting down the seconds until we’re doing Better Work with you in Indianapolis.

It’s not always easy to prepare for a conference, so if you’re looking for travel advice or logistics, look no further than these nine tips. Here’s a ship-ton of information to make sure Yellowship is nothing but smooth sailing for you.

1. Weather

2. Parking

For those of you driving to Yellowship, there are two great parking garages right by Union Station—Pan Am Plaza Garage and Union Station Garage. May the best garage win.

3. Registration

After you arrive and get settled into your hotel room, your next stop is Registration. When you first walk into Union Station, we’ll be straight ahead—you won’t miss us! Come check-in anytime after 8am on Tuesday, October 1.

4. Agenda

We have three jam-packed days of keynotes, breakouts, Llamapalooza, sponsors, events, and more. Phew—it’s a lot to keep track of. To learn what’s happening each day, visit the Yellowship website or view the agenda in the Yellowship app

5. About that app…

Stay in the loop by downloading the Yellowship app before you arrive. You can connect with other attendees and sponsors, build your own agenda, play Llama Loot to earn swag, and more!

6. The Beginning

Yellowship officially sets sail at 3:30 pm EST in Union Station’s Grand Hall. Our CEO, Max Yoder, will kick off the conference, and after that, we’ll celebrate with a Welcome Reception and Llamapalooza.

7. Meet and Greet Guy Raz

Love Guy Raz? We do, too, which is why we want you to meet him. We’re hiding ten plush llamas around Union Station that’ll serve as Meet and Greet passes for Guy. If you find one, take it—it’s yours! Bring it with you to the front of the stage after Guy speaks, and you’ll get to meet him. Long story short, find a plush llama and you’ll meet our favorite Guy.

8. #GirlsClub Breakfast

#GirlsClub founder, Lauren Bailey, is hosting a breakfast at 7:30am the final morning of Yellowship to focus on developing women as leaders in the workforce. We’ve only got 50 seats open for this breakfast, so the first 50 to sign up at the #GirlsClub table in Yellowship’s Expo Hall will be able to attend. Great conversations and a llamosa bar are guaranteed.

9. Bikes. Brighter Indy. Better Work.

If you’re getting to Indy on Tuesday morning, explore our city on a guided bike tour with other Yellowshippers! Proceeds support a local non-profit we love—Nine13sports. To register, sign up for the 9:30am tour on October 1, and use the code LESSONLY to receive a free bike rental.

That’s all we’ve got for now. If you have any questions about Yellowship, email us at yellowship@lessonly.com, and we’ll get you answers.

See you Tuesday!
